As part of a MRFF funded project, the PRECISE team led by Dr Alan Ma have now co-designed a genomics portal with GPs to help GPs recognise genetic conditions, test and refer appropriately, and rapidly upskill in genomics.

Our recently published AJGP article confirms that genomics is now part of mainstream general practice across the lifespan, with GPs central to recognising genetic red flags, initiating first‑tier tests and coordinating timely genetics referrals.
