Focus Groups to support ICA consumer resource project
ICA are looking for 5 - 6 geneticists or genetic counsellors who work in cancer genetics to participate in one of two Focus Groups, investigating experiences supporting patients with inherited cancer risk, from two priority population groups:
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and
- People from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse backgrounds
The online 90-minute focus groups will explore challenges and resource/information gaps for these populations. Insights from the focus group will be used to inform some resources we are developing for these populations.
We are planning to hold focus groups in June 2026 (outside business hours). You will be offered a $50 gift card for your participation. If you have experience with patients in these groups, we’d like to hear from you.
