Invitation to Participate in Research: Exploring the Impact of Expanded Genetic Testing Criteria for Breast Cancer in Australia
Dear Health Care Providers involved in breast cancer genetic testing,
You are invited to participate in a supervised research project examining the impact of expanding genetic testing criteria for breast cancer across Australia. This study aims to generate national evidence on how expanded genetic testing eligibility on breast cancer impacts clinical practice and workforce capacity. Your contribution would be highly valuable in ensuring national representation across states and service types (public and private), with the goal of informing workforce planning and policy development.
Health professionals involved in breast cancer genetic testing (e.g. genetic counsellors, genetic nurses, oncologists, clinical geneticists) are invited to participate in a virtual focus group discussion (approximately 60 minutes) via Zoom.
