Participate in Research: Shaping the future of Carrier Screening Communication

This survey is part of a research project exploring healthcare professionals’ understanding of reproductive genetic carrier screening options and their preferences on receiving this information.

Genetics is a rapidly advancing field, and it is challenging to stay up to date with the latest developments in genetic testing. The purpose of this research is to explore health professionals’ understanding of the available reproductive genetic carrier screening (“carrier screening”) options and their preferences on how they would prefer this information presented to them.

The findings will support the development of simple tools and information sources to present to health professionals in an easy-to-access and easy-to-understand form. This will assist in ensuring that the appropriate carrier screening test has been selected for the patient, ultimately promoting equitable access to screening.
