Expression of Interest - Early Career Speed Mentoring Breakfast - HGSA ASM 2026

We are seeking expressions of interest from students, trainees, early-career researchers, clinicians, genetic counsellors, laboratory scientists, and experienced professionals to participate in an Early Career Speed Mentoring Breakfast at the HGSA ASM 2026 in Christchurch on Sunday 2nd August 7:15 am - 8:30 am. Breakfast is provided. 

This breakfast event will provide an opportunity for early-career delegates to connect with established professionals from across the human genetics and genomics community in a supportive and informal setting. Through a series of short conversations, participants will have the chance to discuss career pathways, research interests, training opportunities, leadership, and professional development. The session aims to foster mentorship, collaboration, and connection across career stages.

We warmly encourage senior and experienced members of the HGSA community to participate as mentors and help support the next generation of professionals in human genetics and genomics.
