Cancer SIG Travel Grants
The HGSA COSA Cancer SIG Executive would like to take the opportunity to promote the SIG’s Professional Development Grant program. The aim of the program is to support members working in any area of cancer genetics (germline or somatic) to attend an in person or virtual conference. The grants can be used for conferences held in the proceeding or upcoming six months.
There are two professional development grants on offer in 2024.
- Professional Development Travel Grants. Successful applicants will be awarded up to $1500 to attend an in-person conference. Grant funds can be used to cover conference registration, travel and accommodation.
- Professional Development Grants (Virtual Attendance). Successful applications will be awarded up to $500 to attend a virtual conference. These grants can be used to cover the cost of conference registration.
