The role of the Combined Board of Censors is to develop policies and procedures which promote a consistent approach to training and uniform standards of training by the various Boards of Censors responsible for training members of the Society in the various Fields of Human Genetics Practice for which the Society offers accreditation

The Council is the decision making body of the Society and consists of the Executive plus representatives of each branch and special interest groups. Council meets twice a year, in February and at the Annual Scientific Meeting.
